The end of all things is near?

It’s true – 1 Peter 4:7-11.

Jesus is coming soon.

How then should you live?

Peter tells us: sober-minded and self-controlled.

Why: So that you can pray.

But above all, Peter says, love one another deeply from the heart. Love covers a multitude of sins.

Additionally: show hospitality to one another without complaining.

Furthermore, be a good steward of the gifts God has given you. Serve others, so they can experience God’s grace.

Do this, so that God may be praised through Jesus- who has redeemed you. You CAN live this way.

The end of all things is near.

So go do these rather ordinary things.

No hysteria required.
